1 call-to-action per email.

if you’re sending out marketing emails of any kind (think automated email campaigns, one-off email blasts, newsletters, etc.), then make sure you’re only using one call-to-action per email. your call-to-action (also commonly abbreviated: cta) should be clear and compelling to help guide the reader into taking the next step in their buyer journey.

what you don’t want to do is ask your subscribers to follow you on all your social media accounts, and to read your blog, and to visit your website, and to refer a friend, and to buy a new product, and to sign up for your newsletter in the same email. phew, glad that’s over... just writing that last sentence about multiple cta’s was exhausting.
