we’ve found some free and easy to use design software that’s similar to adobe (for some functionality - remember, these are free) and extremely helpful if you’re a marketer working on a budget. most people are probably familiar with canva, but be sure to check out figma as well:

1) figma: a web-based design tool that operates on the cloud which makes it perfect for collaborating with teams in real time. figma is easy to learn with minimal editing tools, but still has great functionality - perfect for mockups, collaborative designing, wireframing, logos and vector artwork. www.figma.com

2) canva: most people know & are famililiar with canva and for good reason - it’s easy to use and great for presentations & infographics. canva allows users to create a wide variety of designs perfect for social media content or presentations. canva’s software utilizes a ‘drag-and-drop’ interface making it one of the easier design platforms to learn. www.canva.com

3) *midjourney: this one is a bit different - midjourney is an artificial intelligence design tool that can help create visuals and designs in seconds. no more hours of manual design work or getting stuck with creative blocks. start brushing up on your ai design prompts because that’s going to be the toughest thing about designing with midjourney! www.midjourney.com

in-house tip: when designing with figma and canva, try to keep your designs simple and consistent. choose a simple color palette, a clear font, and utilize your white space effectively. both platforms offer templates as well which can be a great place to get started and can help save you some time.
